Steve Pritchard, owner
Steve has worked as an electrician since 2001, in commercial and residential settings and in the defense industry. He worked on projects for electrical contractors in Santa Barbara County, first as an apprentice and then as a journeyman electrician.
Those projects included housing developments, a new fire station, new construction at Allan Hancock College, the Santa Maria Public Library, launch facilities at Vandenberg Air Force Base and Topaz Solar Farm, once the largest photovoltaic power station in the world.
In 2014 Steve moved to Woodland with his family and started Taurus Electrical Services. In 2017 he moved the business to Vacaville to bring high-quality, reliable and affordable electrical service to homes and businesses in Solano and Yolo counties.
Right from the outset I knew I was speaking with a professional. Steve the owner was helpful and sent out his Tech Nick who arrived on time. Nick was very courteous and performed the task of capping off the hot tub connection at source in an efficient manner. Taurus will be my electrical company of choice from here on. - Clean upIf you are not happy with the cleanup, you do not pay until you are. If your electrician leaves without cleaning, we knock off 15%.
- On timeIf we are running late, we call or text at least 15 minutes before your appointment. You still get service that day, or you can reschedule, and you get 15% off.
- CourteousIf our electricians use profanity or smoke in your home or on your property, we knock off 15%.
