Solar-ready panel upgrade and EV system relocation

We replaced an underground 100-amp service panel with a 125-amp solar-ready panel and a new grounding system. The new panel lets the customer expand their solar system later without a full electrical overhaul.

As part of the job we relocated the EV charger, an outlet and the internet connection so everything meets PG&E clearance requirements.

Commercial crane outlet and three-phase compressor

We installed a dedicated outlet for an overhead crane, so the client can disconnect the crane for maintenance or repairs. It makes the shop safer and more efficient.

We also reconnected the client's new three-phase air compressor for smooth, reliable running.

Fan and string light setup with dual control

We installed a double switch and two outlets on a backyard pergola. One outlet has constant power and the other runs from the double switch.

The customer can now control the fan and the string lights independently.

Water flow restored: a burned-out motor starter

A three-phase motor starter for a water pump would not turn on. On inspection, the starter coil had burned out.

We replaced the coil and the pump went back to full operation. The result: a happy customer with running water again.

Main water ground code correction

The water ground was still attached at the main panel, but updated electrical code needed it properly secured to the water heater pipe. One detail matters: you cannot use a single clamp for both ground wires.

We installed an additional ground clamp and rerouted the ground wire. The result: a satisfied city inspector and a very happy customer.

Service call: a melted light fixture in a store

A local store called about a fluorescent light fixture that had melted, badly damaging the T8 sockets and creating a safety hazard.

We assessed it and replaced the damaged sockets on site, restoring the fixture to safe working condition.
